Originally setting up version 2.9 pre 2 and having it run properly, when
upgrading to 2.9.0.4 I get the above error messages in regard to the
thumbnails and no thumbnail show.

When using browse listings or search homes the thumbnail shows up.

Also I was  not able to use the install.php for any version other than 2.9
pre 2. All the newer versions reported that I didn't have a writable folder,
however 2.9 pre 2 didn't have any problem writing to the folder.
